Works with·Dahua
Does it work with Dahua?
One login walks the whole Dahua recorder, plus the Lorex and Amcrest boxes built on it.
How it connects
Dahua's recorder line and the Lorex and Amcrest units built on the same platform all answer the same channel addresses, so the connector walks them the same way. Nothing is guessed: each channel has to return a live frame before it becomes a camera you can write a rule against.
What this kit needs
Four things, and most of it already has them.
- Reaches your recorder
- The cameras are already on the same network as the DVR or NVR.
- RTSP switched on
- Standard on every recorder here. Setup tells you if it's off.
- H.264 or H.265
- Anything from the last decade. Older MPEG-only kit won't work.
- Clock roughly right
- So the time on your alert matches the time on your footage.
What it costs to add these cameras
- Nothing per camera
- Unlimited cameras on every plan. The AI runs on a small computer beside your cameras, not in a data centre — cameras cost us nothing, so we don’t charge you for them.
- No new hardware
- The kit you already own stays exactly where it is. The only thing you install is the connector.
- Proof before setup
- Every channel proves a live frame before it becomes a camera, so you see a photo from each one before anything is created.
Or just install it and find out.
Ten minutes. If we can’t see your cameras, you don’t pay.
