Why the cameras are usually enough already
Shops tend to have the most cameras and the tightest margins per camera, which is the case unlimited-cameras pricing was built for. Aisle cameras, till cameras and door cameras all come off the same recorder and all cost the same: nothing extra.
What the connector needs
Four things, and most kit already has them.
- Reaches your recorder
- The cameras are already on the same network as the DVR or NVR.
- RTSP switched on
- Standard on every recorder here. Setup tells you if it's off.
- H.264 or H.265
- Anything from the last decade. Older MPEG-only kit won't work.
- Clock roughly right
- So the time on your alert matches the time on your footage.

What it costs to cover the whole place

- Unlimited cameras on every plan — the AI runs on a small computer on site, so cameras cost us nothing and we don’t charge you for them.

- However many messages a busy day produces, you are never charged per message.

- Your cameras and your recorder stay exactly where they are.
What it will not do
It does not recognise people. It counts them and reads the scene — it never knows who anyone is, and that does not change because of what kind of place you run.
