Markets·Parking

Does it fit parking?

Whether camera AI fits a lot or a garage — what the connector needs, what it costs to cover every camera, and what it will never do.

Why the cameras are usually enough already

Lots and garages are the case where nobody is watching the screen, because there is no screen and nobody in the booth. The cameras are already there and already recording; the only thing missing is something to notice.

What the connector needs

Four things, and most kit already has them.

Reaches your recorder
The cameras are already on the same network as the DVR or NVR.
RTSP switched on
Standard on every recorder here. Setup tells you if it's off.
H.264 or H.265
Anything from the last decade. Older MPEG-only kit won't work.
Clock roughly right
So the time on your alert matches the time on your footage.

Worth checking first here: Whether the cameras reach the recorder over the same network as the machine you install the connector on — garages are the place that most often is not true.

What it costs to cover the whole place

Every camera, one price
Unlimited cameras on every plan — the AI runs on a small computer on site, so cameras cost us nothing and we don’t charge you for them.
Alerts are never metered
However many messages a busy day produces, you are never charged per message.
No new hardware
Your cameras and your recorder stay exactly where they are.

What it will not do

It does not recognise people. It counts them and reads the scene — it never knows who anyone is, and that does not change because of what kind of place you run.
